Kazimierska sets Polish record over 1500m, but world lead goes to Duguma
Klaudia Kazimierska ran in Chorzów targeting a 3:54.00 pace — nearly 15 seconds faster than her silver-medal run in Birmingham — in pursuit of a personal best and a Polish record over 1500m. She succeeded in setting a new Polish record, but the world lead for the distance this year was claimed by Tsige Duguma. Just a week earlier Kazimierska had won silver at the championships in England.
