World champion breaks Van Niekerk's 400m record at Chorzów Diamond League

At the Kamila Skolimowska Memorial in Chorzów, part of the Diamond League series, the world champion broke Wayde van Niekerk's 400-metre record. The race also featured 22-year-old Polish runner Maksymilian Szwed from Łódź, who this season broke the 45-second barrier for the first time and competed for a personal best among the world's elite.
