Putin responds to Tusk's Nord Stream II remarks: "I've known him long — it's pure economics"

Vladimir Putin responded to Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk's remarks about Nord Stream II, which caused a stir in Moscow. The Russian president said he had "known Mr Tusk for a long time" and assessed that the motives behind his words were "very simple — short-term economic gain". Kremlin spokeswoman for the foreign ministry Maria Zakharova had earlier also commented on Tusk's statement.
