Zelensky: holding elections during the war would be too dangerous for Ukraine

President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Sunday that holding elections while Ukraine is at war with Russia would pose too great a risk for the country. His statement came in response to a call from a former Ukrainian defence minister for elections to be organised. Zelensky did not specify what conditions would need to be met before a vote could take place.
