German FM visits Kyiv, pledges €60m in additional aid for Ukraine

German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul visited Kyiv on Saturday and pledged an additional €60 million in humanitarian aid and contributions to NATO's comprehensive assistance package for Ukraine. He also announced upcoming talks with the US Secretary of State focused on prospects for a peace settlement. The visit was intended to reaffirm Germany's continued commitment to supporting Ukraine.
