Tesla recalls nearly 3m vehicles in China over hidden door handle safety risk

Tesla is recalling approximately 2.98 million China-made and imported EVs — including the Model 3, Model Y, Model X and Model S — over safety concerns linked to hidden door handles. China's state market regulator announced the move after authorities said they would ban concealed door handles commonly used on Tesla models. The total recall across all carmakers affected by the regulation exceeds 4 million vehicles.
