Rally driver Jesus Lopez "Pijo" dies after accident at hillclimb race in Galicia

Jesus Lopez, known as "Pijo", died following an accident during the seventh edition of the Subida a Taboadela hillclimb, a round of the Xunta de Galicia mountain racing championship in Spain. Two other people were injured in the incident — another driver and a spectator. The competition was immediately halted after the fatal crash.
