Strongest storms in 20 years hit Lithuania and Latvia — 2 dead, hundreds of thousands without power

Lithuania and Latvia were struck by the most powerful storms in two decades, killing two people and leaving hundreds of thousands of households without electricity. Wind gusts were so fierce that in some areas fallen trees lay every 10 metres along roads. Authorities are working to restore power to affected areas.
