Storms batter Podlaskie region — 5,000 homes still without power on Sunday

Storms on Friday and strong winds on Saturday caused widespread damage across the Podlaskie region of northeastern Poland. By Sunday, around 5,000 households and businesses were still without electricity. The violent weather left significant destruction across the area.
