DR Congo and AFC/M23 agree on peace talks roadmap after Swiss negotiations

Mediators for the Rwanda-backed AFC/M23 armed group and the Democratic Republic of Congo issued a joint statement after talks in Switzerland. Both sides agreed on a roadmap for peace negotiations and a standardised method for reporting alleged ceasefire violations. The agreement marks a new step toward resolving the ongoing conflict in eastern DRC.
