Nawrocki vetoes "lex charlatan" and submits his own bill
President Karol Nawrocki refused to sign the government's so-called "lex charlatan" bill and referred it to the Constitutional Tribunal, while simultaneously presenting his own alternative proposal. MP Dorota Łoboda dismissed the presidential bill as worthless, while Barbara Oliwiecka of the Centrum club said it would only be effective "after the fact." PiS MEP Tobiasz Bocheński praised Nawrocki's decision to refer the law to the Tribunal as "very good."
