Amazon raises prices on Echo, Fire TV and Kindle by up to 60 percent

Amazon has raised prices on its Echo smart speakers, Kindle e-readers, Fire TV streaming sticks and Eero routers by up to 60 percent, citing significant increases in memory and storage component costs. The cheapest devices were hit hardest — the Echo Dot jumped from $49.99 to $79.99. Fire TV Stick 4K and other products across the lineup also saw notable price hikes.
