Romania shuts its only nuclear plant as Danube drought threatens cooling

Romania fully shut down its only nuclear power plant on Thursday after the Danube's water level dropped so low that cooling the last operational reactor became unsafe. Authorities said they have an emergency plan in place for the duration of the outage.
