Two rescued off India's eastern coast after distress alert from cargo ship

A search and rescue operation was launched off India's eastern coast after a distress alert was received and contact lost with a Panama-flagged cargo ship. Two people have been rescued so far. The operation was still ongoing at the time of reporting.
