BMW XM lives on — second generation under consideration despite cancellation reports

Trade media, including Automotive News, reported that the BMW XM had flopped commercially and would be discontinued in November 2028 with no successor. However, BMW has not confirmed that the model is finished for good, leaving the door open for a second-generation XM. The fate of the large SUV remains undecided.
