The Indian Coast Guard launched a search and rescue operation after a cargo vessel sank in the Bay of Bengal. The crew consisted of 20 Chinese nationals, three Myanmar nationals, and one Bangladeshi citizen. The cause of the sinking has not yet been disclosed.
