AI pinpoints photo locations from social media with up to 91% accuracy

Artificial intelligence can now determine where a social media photo was taken even without GPS metadata embedded in the file, according to McAfee Labs research. For travel photos, location matching accuracy reaches between 87 and 91 percent. The finding raises serious privacy concerns for anyone sharing images online.
