Polish sick leave down 2.7% year-on-year: 14.1 million certificates issued in first half

Polish doctors issued 14.1 million sick-leave certificates in the first half of the year, down 2.7% compared to the same period last year, according to ZUS data. The share of absences linked to injuries, poisonings and mental disorders increased. The average sick leave lasted 10 days.
