TV writer sues 'Yellowstone' creators, claims her pitch was stolen

TV writer Lauren J. Salkin has filed a lawsuit accusing Taylor Sheridan and the producers of "Yellowstone" of stealing her idea for a show. Salkin claims Paramount's hit series bears striking similarities to her own pitch, titled "Sovereign Nation". Her lawsuit lists a number of specific plot parallels between the two projects.
