Świątek loses to Pegula, out of Cincinnati WTA 1000

Iga Świątek has been eliminated from the WTA 1000 tournament in Cincinnati, losing to Jessica Pegula in the semi-finals. The Polish player fought hard but could not advance to the final. Świątek will now rest and prepare for the upcoming US Open Grand Slam.
