Fedorov breaks silence: corruption in defence ministry blocking Ukraine's victory

Former Ukrainian Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, in an interview with Channel 24, described widespread corruption inside the defence ministry as the key obstacle preventing Ukraine from ending the war from a position of strength. He also renewed his call for Kyiv to prepare for elections despite the ongoing conflict with Russia. "We should not wait for a crisis and then desperately search for solutions," Fedorov said.
