Belarusian opposition leader Alaksandr Milinkiewicz buried at Warsaw's Powązki cemetery

Alaksandr Milinkiewicz, a key leader of the Belarusian democratic opposition and former presidential challenger to Lukashenko, was buried at the Powązki cemetery in Warsaw. He died aged 79. A letter from President Karol Nawrocki was read at the funeral, expressing hope that a free Belarus would honour his memory.
