Seven killed in head-on crash on A66, including two on-duty officers

A head-on crash on the A66 expressway near Middlesbrough, north-east England, killed seven people overnight. A Volkswagen Passat driving the wrong way collided with a police patrol car. All occupants of both vehicles died, including two on-duty police officers.
