Iran grants some Iraqi oil tankers permission to pass through the Strait of Hormuz

Iran has granted permission for some Iraqi oil tankers to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, Iraqi President Nizar Amidi announced. He also stated that Iraq would not allow its territory to be used to launch attacks against any other state. The move eases tensions along one of the world's most critical oil shipping routes.
