38-year-old Polish long jump record broken at Diamond League event in Katowice

At the long jump competition held in Katowice's main square as part of the Kamila Skolimowska Memorial Diamond League event, two of the longest jumps ever recorded on Polish soil were achieved. The record set by Agata Karczmarska in 1988 was broken. The competition served as a curtain-raiser to Sunday's main programme at Silesian Stadium.
