Father left 7-year-old alone on Mount Fuji trail above 2,000 metres

Japanese police reprimanded a father who left his seven-year-old son alone for several hours on the trail up Mount Fuji, Japan's highest peak. The boy was found sitting on a bench in fog and rain at an altitude of over 2,000 metres. The father had told the child to wait there and continued climbing without him.
