Same-sex foreign marriage transcriptions now available at every Polish registry office
From Sunday, every Polish civil registry office is required to accept applications for transcription of foreign same-sex marriage certificates. Deputy Prime Minister Krzysztof Gawkowski wrote on X that this is "the end of the administrative fiction and uncertainty that Polish families have faced for years." The change follows new regulations that came into force today.
