Ukraine planned "M&Ms" op: up to 1,000 AI-guided drones nightly over Moscow

According to The Atlantic, advisers around then-Ukrainian Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov devised "Operation M&Ms" — launching up to 1,000 cheap AI-guided drones at Moscow every night. The goal was not to destroy airports but to make them unpredictable enough that airlines would stop flying to the Russian capital. The plan was halted, but Ukraine is already developing and deploying similar drone technologies on the battlefield.
