Foreigners wait up to 650 days for residence permits instead of 60 — protests planned

Ukrainians, Belarusians and other non-EU nationals in Poland are waiting up to 650 days for their residence status to be legalised, despite a legal deadline of 60 days. During this time they lose benefits, jobs and cannot travel abroad. Frustrated by the government's inaction, foreigners are planning a public protest.
