Polish homeowner fined 26,711 zł for CCTV cameras pointing at neighbours' properties
Poland's data protection authority (UODO) fined a homeowner 26,711 zł for failing to remove CCTV cameras pointed at a public road and neighbouring plots, despite a prior UODO order. It is the first fine of this kind issued for a GDPR violation involving private surveillance in Poland. The amount is below the maximum penalty allowed under the law.
