Hong Kong Tiananmen vigil organisers convicted of inciting subversion
Hong Kong activists Lee Cheuk-yan, 69, and Chow Hang-tung, 41, have been found guilty of "incitement to subversion" for organising annual vigils commemorating China's 1989 Tiananmen Square crackdown. Each faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison, with sentencing set for a later date. The UK Foreign Office condemned the use of Beijing's national security law to convict the pair.
