Flood warnings still active in parts of Poland as drought persists elsewhere

Poland's hydrological situation is gradually stabilising after heavy rainfall, but the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW) has kept first- and second-level flood warnings in place in selected regions. At the same time, drought conditions persist across many other parts of the country. Poland is thus contending with two weather extremes simultaneously.
