Andy Burnham wants to bring the 2042 men's World Cup to the UK

Andy Burnham announced at a meeting with the prime minister and regional mayors in Manchester that he wants the UK to host the men's football World Cup in 2042. It would mark the tournament's return to British soil for the first time since 1966.
