Over 100 former French and British ambassadors accuse Israel of ethnic cleansing

More than 100 former French and British ambassadors have signed an unprecedented joint letter to President Macron and the British Prime Minister calling for a ban on trade and arms sales to Israel. The diplomats explicitly accuse Israel of ethnic cleansing and the "erasure" of Palestine, warning that the world no longer regards it as a genuine democracy. The letter urges both governments to pressure Israel into accepting a Palestinian state.
