DR Congo receives 16,000 Ebola vaccines as outbreak death toll tops 2,500
The Democratic Republic of Congo has received more than 16,000 Ebola vaccine doses as authorities battle a rapidly worsening outbreak that has already killed over 2,500 people. WHO officials warn the epidemic could surpass the deadliest Ebola outbreak on record — the 2014–2016 West Africa crisis that killed more than 11,000. Experts describe the spread as "exponential."
