Over 100 ex-UK and French ambassadors accuse Israel of ethnic cleansing

More than 100 former British and French diplomats have signed an open letter to the UK Prime Minister and French President accusing Israel of the "erasure" of Palestine and ethnic cleansing. The signatories are calling for a ban on trade and arms sales to Israel to pressure it into accepting a Palestinian state. Among them is Sir Vincent Fean, former British Consul-General in Jerusalem.
