New personal investment accounts could boost Warsaw Stock Exchange activity

The number of brokerage accounts in Poland is growing alongside improving sentiment on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, according to the Polish Economic Institute. Experts say the planned launch of Personal Investment Accounts (OKI) could further boost retail investing interest. The accounts are expected to offer tax incentives similar to existing IKE and IKZE savings vehicles.
