Ethiopia's wine boom: Bordeaux vines drive East African exports

Ethiopia is emerging as a notable wine producer in East Africa, driven by a partnership between French experts and Ethiopian winemakers using Bordeaux-imported vines. After years of refinement, Ethiopian wines are now being exported, while domestic consumption is also rising steadily. Correspondent Tom Canetti visited a French-Ethiopian winery in central Ethiopia.
