Iran lets Iraqi tankers through the Strait of Hormuz

Iran has allowed several Iraqi oil tankers to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, according to Iran's state news agency IRNA. Baghdad had repeatedly appealed to Tehran to permit Iraqi oil-carrying vessels to leave the Persian Gulf via the strategic waterway.
