Polish Territorial Defence on 48-hour alert due to severe storms

Poland's Territorial Defence Forces have been placed on heightened alert for 48 hours until Monday due to severe storms sweeping across multiple regions of the country. Soldiers can be deployed to support emergency services and public administration within six hours of being called. The alert was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister.
