Pope Leo XIV visits San Marino, praises it as model of freedom and common good

Pope Leo XIV visited San Marino and praised the tiny republic as a model of political freedom and service to the common good. During the visit he warned against political and economic systems that place power above human dignity. San Marino is one of the world's smallest states, entirely surrounded by Italy.
