Polish law: job applicants must be paid for trial work days
Some employers in Poland ask job candidates to perform regular work duties under the guise of a short recruitment task, without paying them. Under Polish law, a so-called trial day in which a candidate performs actual work always entitles them to pay. Exploiting candidates with unpaid work is an illegal practice.
