Valve slip-up reveals Steam Frame VR headset details, including unboxing videos

The company previously said the VR headset will launch this summer, but hasn’t offered a specific timeframe.

It’s been a long wait for the Steam Frame VR gaming headset following its announcement late last year. Valve finally gave us a summer launch timeline for this eagerly anticipated device in June, but we haven’t heard much since then. That’s changing now, as a slip-up has revealed more than half a dozen tutorial videos of the upcoming VR headset and its accessories.

X account Steam Hardware Updates highlights eight videos , including an extensive unboxing video that leaves nothing to the imagination. These videos reportedly come from the ARM-based Steam client. Although Valve has since removed them from its platform, it wasn’t quick enough to avoid the public noticing.
