Polish National Guard on high alert after storms — over 1,900 fire brigade interventions
Poland's fire brigade recorded over 1,900 interventions by 8 a.m. following a storm front sweeping across the country. Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz announced that the Territorial Defence Forces have been placed on heightened alert to support emergency services nationwide.
