Genoa low batters Poland: 2,000 fire brigade callouts, flood alerts in Lower Silesia

A Genoa low-pressure system swept through Poland overnight, prompting nearly 2,000 fire brigade interventions. Several scout camps were evacuated, flood alerts were issued in Lower Silesia, and sandbag distribution began. In Łódź voivodeship alone, 20,000 households are without power. Meteorologists warn the worst is not yet over.
