Expert: Poland doesn't track femicides — and the killers are getting younger
Alicja Serafin of the Femicide In Poland think-tank warns that the Polish state collects no data allowing it to determine how many women's killings constitute femicide. She also highlights an alarming trend: recent killers in Biała Podlaska, Mszana Dolna and Jędrzejów were 19 and 20 years old. In Mszana Dolna, the perpetrator had subjected his victim to prolonged harassment before the murder; in Jędrzejów, he had previously attempted rape.
