Good TK candidate, bad precedent — moving from government to Constitutional Court

Commentator Krzysztof Izdebski writes for Wirtualna Polska that while the candidate for the Constitutional Tribunal may be suitable, the manner of appointment raises serious concerns. Having a government member move almost directly to an institution that oversees that same government's constitutionality is a poor signal. Izdebski argues that restoring public trust in the Tribunal demands higher standards.
