German FM Wadephul arrives in Kyiv as Russian attacks intensify

German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul travelled to Kyiv by special train, arriving just days before Ukraine's 35th independence day. His visit coincides with an uptick in Russian strikes — two Ukrainians were killed in overnight attacks ahead of his arrival. Wadephul is among the most senior Western diplomats to visit Kyiv recently.
