FIFA secretary general Grafström sounded out as rival to Infantino in presidential election

According to the Guardian, senior figures in African football have held talks with FIFA secretary general Mattias Grafström to gauge his interest in challenging Gianni Infantino for the FIFA presidency. As many as 15 African federations are reportedly ready to withdraw their support from Infantino, despite CAF claiming its executive committee unanimously reconfirmed backing for the 56-year-old.
