Spain's Dragonbot AI robot harvests dragon fruit without damage

Spanish scientists have developed Dragonbot, an autonomous robot using AI, vision systems and a robotic arm to harvest dragon fruit without damage. The machine independently identifies ripe fruit, potentially cutting post-harvest losses and reducing demand for seasonal labour. Researchers say the technology could eventually be applied to other delicate fruit varieties.
